This original red brick heritage cottage in Reid had been extended insensitively in the 1980’s and required a significant overhaul to improve its orientation and connectivity with the rear yard. Sensitive restoration of the existing cottage and a rework of planning and interior detailing of the addition has turned this cottage into a warm and inviting family home. A feature of the new spaces is the timber lined ceiling coffers with openable skylights that draw additional light into the living areas.
